Tor Browser broken..?

Hey everyone,
So, I have been using Tor Browser in the "Safest" security slider setting, without any hiccups, but yesterday I noticed that all of a sudden, it was not blocking things properly. I downloaded a fresh copy and unziped it... First time it was ok, second time I launch the browser, even though the security slider is set to Safest, if you go to an Invidious instance, you will notice that icons are not blocked, media is not blocked, JS will sometimes run sometimes not... I don't know why! I can't understand any possible way my system did this... I am on Trisquel 9, and didn't install any new software when it started.
I noticed NoScript had an update yesterday, could it be related?
I tried contacting the Tor support team without success...
Anyone can confirm it? Thanks.
yewtu.be is the invidious instance I use, and it plays most videos with html5. Tor-browser's safest setting says it does allow html5 videos to play using "click-to-play". Today, it's working that way for me - I set it on safest settings, and yewtu.be was click-to-play on videos.
On icons, Tor-browser says that "some" icons are blocked in safest mode. It does not say media is blocked, it says "Audio and video (HTML5 media), and WebGL are click-to-play."
On the videos that will not play, they are probably not being served up by the youtube servers as pure html5 and instead require some js.
So, overall, my Tor-browser is working the same as yours, but it looks like it's doing what the description of the "safest" setting says it will do.
Edit: You can see js is turned off on yewtu.be because the comments don't load.
That's the thing, in my case, media is not "click to play". No matter what I set in the security slider, media is readily available. You will also notice the icons (headphones, youtube symbol, etc) will not appear if you launch the Tor Browser with the security slider set to maximum security. In my case, they do appear.
Though it's true that Javascript is disabled, because like you said comments don't load in Invidious.
I would think something wrong with my system, not with the browser itself since I have downloaded a fresh copy, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what exactly.
I think I found the problem!
Check which version of NoScript you are running. I was running the latest Tor Browser with the NoScript 11.3.2 version. It actually has a reference in the changelog that says this:
"Prevent LAN protection from breaking webRequest blocking
on the Tor Browser (thanks TorBrowserUser for reporting"
I downgraded NoScript to 11.2.25 and now everything works properly. Could it be that their update was causing the issue?
I have tried contacting the Tor support team, but no luck...
