Trisquel 5.0 desktop issues after install

I installed Trisquel 5.0 in a virtual machine to test it out before upgrading. The first time I logged in after installing, the desktop looked like this: http://i.imgur.com/Cu7JS.png
After I logged out and logged back in, things looked normal. Still, I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade after seeing that. Has this happened to anyone else?
I was faced with the same problem after upgrading. It disappeared in the same way.
This happened to me in 4.5 a few times actually. I think it's just a problem that happens for some really weird reason but fixes itself.
It happened to me in 5.0 though, but only once.
I did a fresh install of 5.0 yesterday and I have not (yet) encountered that problem.
I tried out my virtual machine installation again to see if the desktop was still messed up, and it was. I logged out and back in again twice, and even that didn't fix it.
I hope this is fixed soon. I'm not going to be upgrading to 5.0 until it is.
No prob here on upgrading from Slaine to Dagda. Found my old Trisquel background image and changed to a new one. Ok
