A true free software browser for Android

In F-droid, Firefox is available as a web browser even if true free software activists don't consider it as such with the recommendation of non-free add-ons. Is it there because of no better alternative exists even in violation of the rules?
I also haven't seen Chromium for Android either. Is this due to interest or it being harder to adapt the Chrome mobile source code if it isn't packaged by Google? Or is it not on F-droid because of the unclear licenses like the desktop version?
"At this time, a full compile does not build the browser. It only builds unit test bundles. As more code becomes available in the public Chromium source, more targets will be added."
So basically, not enough source code to build for Android.
That's a shame. By the way, can you cite the source of that information??

Sorry, I forgot to post it yesterday 'cuz I was doing it off my phone.
Don't forget about Orweb, a browser designed to work with the Tor privacy network (install Orbot from F-droid too), Zirco Browser, and for later devices, Tint Browser. All those are in F-droid now.
