UBlock Origin running old version

My Abrowser is running UBO version 1.40.2 which is almost a year out of date. The most recent version is 1.67.0.
Youtube ads are suddenly leaking through, which is very annoying and a possible risk.
Version 1.40.2 appears to be impossible to update. It seems locked. I generally use the latest version of UBO but now I can't update it.
I have an old up-cycled Chromebook running Linux Mint and Firefox, and it has UBO 166.4
Abrowser is the problem.
By the way, the Dell Chromebook 3180 runs fine on Mint- even videos.

I downloaded the file but cannot access the mozilla installer for the add-ons.
I just got the update to run. You must restart the browser for it to work or click a small notification that appears...
