I have some good news!
I have upgraded to version 11 from version 10 without error.
Usually something bad goes wrong and I have to wipe the harddrive.

^")"^ which means glad to hear it went well Jonathan. I always have /home on a separate partition. Hopefully I won't have to wipe the whole hard drive if the OS gets in trouble, just reinstall in the / partition while remounting /home.
