What does this mean?
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libgtk2.0-0_2.24.10-0ubuntu6+6.0trisquel2_i386.deb (--unpack):
'./usr/share/doc/libgtk2.0-0/changelog.Debian' is different from the same file on the system
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Are you running which version of Trisquel? 32 or 64 bit?
I use Trisquel 6.0, 64 bit, standard edition.
I have received this error before, after which I would backup my files and re-install Trisquel because it keeps complaining about a major error in software management. It always happens after I try to install a .deb file. So, another solution to this problem would be to simply tell me how to safely install a .deb file.
Did you upgrade from 5.5? You probably want to remove multiarch (delete or comment out /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch) and update (sudo apt-get update) and remove any i386 packages off your system. You can find them e.g. using the Synaptic package manager. (there is a sort by arch option in the left hand menu)
Deleting all of the i386 packages fixed the problem.
I did not upgrade from 5.5. I have never used an STS release of Trisquel, I only like the LTS releases.

run the command
sudo apt-get clean
and then you may re-install whatever package you were installing
the file may have got corrupted while download
