What is a good USB headset that works with Trisquel for VoIP

I know there are free software drivers for networking cards and such, but what about USB headsets for use in VoIP and online games in services like Mumble? It can be wired or wireless and hopefully something in a decent price range.

I'm guessing USB may be the best route considering it adds a new sound device to PulseAudio and I can have audio input and output through one device. That way I can leave my speakers alone.

So what would you recommend? Logitech? Microsoft? Turtle Beach? Maybe an offshoot or not as popular company that still makes rock solid hardware?
