The 5-1/4 inch floppy reader that I'm installing in a Trisquel 7 system wants me to install libusb-0.1.12 in order to compile a suitable linux driver.

Trouble is, sudo apt-get libusb-0.1.12 doesn't get me anywhere, nor does apropos libusb.

Any suggestions ? There are other libusb-x.y.z's available; would one of those be appropriate ?

Solved:

Turns out it's usblib-dev; at least, that's what worked for me.
