Is WiFi disconnect on restart a new feature of Trisquel_10 ?

Now, when Trisquel_10 reboots, the Wifi connection is lost,
even though the panel icon indicates that it is still active.
I must disconnect and then reconnect to restore the connection.
Used to be that on start or restart the Wifi was active immediately.
Was the change made to improve security ?
I too am having issues with Trisquel 10 nabia Wifi.
I am having issues with my Wifi disconnecting randomly. A few days ago it would not turn on no matter how many times I put in the right password. Now it works, but I have been using it for a little bit.
I thought I would update this. I find that wifi does not disconnect if you do not enter two different interface connections to the same wireless networks.
Since I have two cards one internal and one external it will automatically try disconnect one that has priority over the other. I tried to set up priority in KDE, but it seems that my user does not have the power to make it set. So I think deleted the interface that I did not want (internal card) through nmtui and setup the interface I did want through KDE's networks taskbar icon.
I am not experiencing that problematic feature on Trisquel 11 Aramo.
Did you try with previous versions of the kernel?
I can only give my experiences. My desktop using Trisquel 10.0.1; the TPE-N300PCIED2 from Think Penguin and the 6.1.4-gnu kernel doesn't have this issue. My T400 which uses an Atheros wifi; is on kernel 6.1.4-gnu and Trisquel 10.0.1 also doesn't have this issue.
Two Lenovo T420s don't display this feature, but T430 does. All three 'puters
are using the same 4336 port replicator, and Think Penguins's long range Wifi
attachment is on one of those USB ports. They're all using Trisquel_10, updated
today.
