Working around sluggishness in Cheese with guvcview

On Trisquel 9 Etiona, Cheese would display the webcam output at about 1 fps or less, so I switched to Camorama, which worked well. Unfortunately, it appears to have been dropped upstream since Nabia.

I am still having the same problem with Cheese on Aramo, but I found this workaround: installing guvcview (available in Add/remove applications) and using it to find the proper exposure settings (deselecting "auto color balance" and "exposure auto mode" worked for me). After that, Cheese will work fine and you can keep enjoying its simpler interface. Or just use guvcview instead, which comes with the added benefit of having a dedicated window for the webcam output.
