Would I be able to retrieve my writing?

I hope I can get some useful help.
This morning I was working on some writing. English is not my first language and it took me about two and a half hours to write a short sentence. It took me about two and a half hours to write a short sentence, and I was not allowed to make any mistakes, so I took my time and was careful to avoid grammatical errors and typos. I reread and reworked the draft many times, and when I was reasonably satisfied with my writing, I pressed the save button to save the text, pluma suddenly closed. I tried to get back the lost text, but every time I clicked on a button or icon, the software quits immediately. When I clicked on the hibernate, the screen went black. It didn't respond to the mouse or keyboard, so I tried the magic something I just learned yesterday, and the system instantly shut down and the familiar GNU and Penguin screen appeared on the screen. Is it possible to get back the two and a half hours I lost?

If you didn't have a chance to specify the file name and path, then the contents were not written to hard disk, and were lost in memory. However, if they were just a few sentences, you can just try to rewrite them.

I have experienced much more disastrous data loss, so just accept it as a fact peacefully.

The writing was about the difference between Chinese meat buns (肉饅 meat baozi) and Chinese bean jam buns (餡饅 sweat baozi). It may have been about the difference between pizza buns and bean jam buns, but I can't remember. My memory has been deteriorating lately, so I can't even remember what I ate in the morning. So it seems difficult to remember what I wrote.
So that means I need to specify the file name and path as soon as I start writing. I'll keep that in mind. I hope I can remember it.
I feel a sense of loss, but it's better because it's still something I can get back. There are some things in this world you can't get back.

By the way, the system was unstable this time, so I guess there was nothing I could do. Anyway it immediately refused or ignored all of my orders. But from your writing, it seems possible to get the data back from the memory in a other situation. Would you tell me how to do that?

Sure, you can easily travel back to the moment just before you started writing. You only need to fiddle with the PCB switches in the correct sequence. Once there, create a text file before writing anything in it, save as you write, then travel forth to now. Your work will have been saved and this thread will never have been created. But remember: never sneeze during the process, for it might create a vergence and trigger a completely different future where you do not exist at all, or where you have become a frozen dwarf erring forever in the cosmos while someone else is eating your mianbao.

That said, if it takes you so long to write a short sentence, you might want to consider quitting writing altogether. Spending your whole life posting in the Trisquel forum must be something, though. What a dedicated user.

If it doesn't trouble you, I'll stop anytime, sir. I'm not doing that for myself.
I will remember those your words well.
