Your thoughts on Android kernel in Linux 3.3

According to HERE and HERE and HERE, Linux 3.3 will finally integrate Android.
What are your guys thoughts about it? Does this mean it will be easier to get operating systems on ARM like maybe Trisquel? I know there may be some proprietary blobs to filter out, but apparently the merging of these two codebases has been in progress for a while.
