plymouth-theme-trisquel-logo breaks dist-upgrade

While doing sudo apt-get dist-upgrade, the upgrade stopped due to the error attached.

I had problems with plymouth-theme-trisquel-logo when I did my dist-upgrade as well. I to remove it completely before the upgrade would resume. Did you try removing it? You should be able to boot up without it, although it's only a temporary fix.

This error seems to be fixed in the new beta image. However the updated patch is not ready in the repos yet.

Trisquel 8.0 support ended in April 2021.
Please open a new issue in case it remains on the current supported release.
