The description line for packages faad, faad2-dbg, libfaad-dev and libfaad2 contains the word "freeware". I bet this is confusing to some people who might not know the difference between "freeware" and "free software".

I'm not sure if the word could be removed or not. Perhaps somebody who really understands what it is will take a looksie. Perhaps the word could be replaced with "available at no cost" or something.

The important thing is the license.

faad http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/f/faad2/faad2_2.7-4/faad.copyright
faad2-dbg http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/f/faad2/faad2_2.7-4/faad2-dbg.copyright
libfaad-dev http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/f/faad2/faad2_2.7-4/libfaad-dev.copyright
libfaad2 http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/f/faad2/faad2_2.7-4/libfaad2.copyright

And the description of the package can be edited when debianized. Apparently those responsible for the Debian package are:
Matthew W. S. Bell <name at domain>
Paul Aubin <name at domain>

Say "available at no cost" can confuse because free software is a matter of freedom, not cost. :-)

Faad is "faad - freeware Advanced Audio Decoder player"

We cant change a name to this package.
