Lengthy shutdown delay by modem-manger

Its takes several minutes for Trisquel to shut-down and from what I can see when I F6 to view what's going on, it shows its waiting on modem-manager to shut-down, a easy 5+ minutes goes by waiting on that before it decides it will finish, Not sure why. Just says its caught signal 15 and is shutting down if that's worth anything.
