Return to the previous page after login

Currently when you log in you're taken to your own profile page. It would make more sense to return the user to the page they logged in from.

I think it would be better to make an option on the user profile to choose between returning to the previous page or to the user account tracking tab. I found usefull to get redirect to my user account as there I can find replies and wikies created to continue working. However, it is redirecting to the user's account view tab for which I have to click on tracking yet still.
