Modern Akan is a more readable form of written Akan. It is based on the orthographic harmonization work carried out by the Bureau of Ghana languages and The Centre for Advanced Studies of African Society.
Modern Akan can be used to write Akuapem Twi, Asante Twi, and Fanti.
