adding a printer not found; hostname automatically given at install

I am trying to add my printer Epson Stylus NX415 in both the system settings and cups localhost:631 administration, but it is not found. The printer is on of course and plugged in via usb, but I can't seem to get it found. lsusb doesn't show the printer.

Another question I have is, how did my computer automatically choose the hostname username-Taurinus-X200? I am pretty sure I didn't choose it.

Any ideas?
