Attempting to install 6.0 on an HP Pavilion N3250 which uses an AMD K6-2 CPU aborts with the message that a CPU supporting PAE and CMOV features is required. Is there any Trisquel solution, workaround, or alternative?

The Trisquel iso of Toutatis won't work as it's based on Ubuntu and Ubuntu has changed to PAEd kernel.
You can easily get to work this way (not a solution exactly):
Download a previous Trisquel version. It will work.

Download Trisquel 6.0.1 instead. It should work without PAE.
