I'm using 4.5 slaine on HP probook 4230s. Is there any free driver software available for finger print recognition in slaine?

I'm pretty sure there isn't. But then again, i'm not the most qualified person to answer that.

Follow the instructions contained here:
https://launchpad.net/~fingerprint/+archive/fprint
The required packages are already in the repositories (no need to add this PPA).
