My audio settings change every time I reboot.

I'm using a Thinkpad X60 if that matters. I use my mic with Tox a lot and need it to work, but Tox can't find my mic it unless I change the input device to 'front microphone' in audio settings. Which would be fine if the settings did not revert backwards every time I boot up. The two screenshots show what I mean. How do I fix this?
