no manpages

I just installed trisquel using the netinstall on a server box with no GUI. For some reason I have no manpages. When I type man (whatever) it says command not found. I have tried installing a package called manpages from the repository, but that didn't help. Anybody know what went wrong and how to fix it. Thank you.
