No Network Popup Notifications?

Since Trisquel is based on Ubuntu I would of thought there would be network pop up ballon messages on the desktop of Gnome, but there isn't...

Anyway we can get this implemented soon, or I can enable?

I use the VPN network plugin and it would be nice to see these notifications, so when my VPN disconnects I can be notified...

I don't know about VPN networks but do you have libnotify installed?

libnotify1 is installed in Trisquel by default, I'm using 4.5...

Ok, I see there is a notification popup for eth0 but nothing for VPN... :(
