Openshot not working on Trisquel

It has been a few weeks in the waiting due to other pressing things but I got a few minutes so here goes.

About a month ago I noticed Openshot not "starting" under Trisquel 10 / MATE. There are no errors generated it shows up in task manager utilising 0% resorces, nothing on the screen. Tried running from a terminal - no difference. Tried removing and reinstalling, still loading into task manager but not displaying on screen. I'm wondering if someone else has come across this?

Thanks

Openshot kept crashing when I tried it on Trisquel 11, so I gave up.

I have mostly been using Kdenlive for video editing.

I wouldn't recommend any video editing program, but each time I used one, I chose the one did not crash (or the one that crashed less then the others) in the distribution I used then, so, it's not a matter of taste, but a matter of tests.

This is what comes up when trying to run it from the terminal.
