lenovo thinkpad x220i. Debian 12 main system. Pci
wifi card intel centrino advanced-n 6205 does not
work. Does the thinkpad x220i have a pci wifi
card white list? Or is any pci wifi
card compatible with the thinkpad x220i?
Thank you.

There are some out there. The one I currently have is flakey from when I purchased it from Libiquity, so I opted for a usb wireless device I bought from ThinkPenguin. They have some wireless PCI Express cards available too.

Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
Subsystem: AzurquoteeWave AW-NE785 / AW-NE785H 802.11bgn Wireless Full or Half-size Mini PCIe Card
Control: I/O- Mem- BusMaster- SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx-
Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- SERR-
