Trisquel-compatible SIM card reader?

I recently bought a new cell phone because my old one died. I have several contacts on my old phone that I'd like to be able to access. I tried taking the SIM card from my old phone and inserting it into my new one, but the phone gave me a message about rejecting the SIM card.
I've seen a few devices for sale that take a SIM card and connect to a computer via USB. Does anyone know if any of them will work in Trisquel?
