Abrowser setting for media.gstreamer.enabled is currently "false" - a manual change to "true" allows streaming audio/video.
That would allow the streaming of the patent encumbered h.264 codec, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264#Patent_licensing and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264#Controversies
So there's a choice between two evils:
*Leave the pref as is and make Trisquel appear less user friendly but discourage the use of the patented codec
*Toggle the pref and make Trisquel more user friendly but encourage the use of the patented codec.
