— and so on.
I had the same problem.
At the moment the problem with the 3.11 kernel has been solved but not with the 3.5
Indeed.
It's impossible to update the kernel 3.5 even with April's 3 update.
It am also effected by this bug. I use 'linux-headers-generic-lts-belenos'
That's still happening with linux-{headers,image,tools}-3.5.0-49*:
-------
I should add that the 3.5 Linux-libre branch has been supporting my videocard (NVIDIA Corporation C61 [GeForce 6150SE nForce 430]) increasingly better, and is the only one to support 3D effects (GNOME Shell...), even though with few fatal hangings sometimes -- the failure rate is decreasing with new packages.
Yay, fixed!
Now happening with trusty images...

I wonder what the root cause of this is. I think the metapackages (such as linux-lts-generic-trusty) get updated to refer to the new images and headers, while the new images and headers haven't been deblobbed yet.
31-07-2014 update
02-08-2014 update
Fixed. I'm marking it as "needs more info." I'm running 7.0, by the way.
I see it was fixed for Trisquel 7 (amd64 here), but not for Trisquel 6 (id.) as of Aug 3rd.
I should note the Toutatis user is now prompted to upgrade its HWE stack when he logs in at tty, but he is frustrated when trying to do it.
Update 05-08-2014
No pasa nada
Well, it was fixed today (Aug 5th) for Trisquel 6.0 Toutatis (64 bits).
