Power button suspend only works once per boot.

Description

Power button is set to cause the computer to suspend. It works, but after I resume and press the button again there is no response. The only possibly related issue I have found is that the G15 keyboard-screen controller program (package G15daemon) also ceases to work after the computer resumes.

"power button" in the bug description refers to the one on the front of the computer. The button on the keyboard that causes a suspend still works (but I prefer to use my G15, which does not have one).

Edit the suspend/resume scripts to kill/restart the daemon. Read the manual page for howto. (man pm-suspend)

If it decides to kill something, shouldn't it also decide to restart it?
I am assuming you are implying it crashed because it didn't add itself to these scripts? And I assume you are referring only to the G15 since trisquel should have that done already (and if not i have no idea how to tackle that issue). I should submit the G15 issue to them.

The file you are referring to is /etc/pm/sleep.d which is no script file but a directory for script files for each individual program.... and I have no experience in writing scripts.

I dont intend on suspending that often, since this computer's power supply does not actually switch off when it is in suspend...
