"Something else" option does not allow to encrypt "/home" partition

Description

This week I downloaded trisquel_8.0_i686.iso and used "Something else" option to install Flidas on my Asus Eeee netbook configuring three clean partitions: "/boot", "/" and "/home".

I saw in the first screen option "Encrypt the new Trisquel installation" is checked by default so, after selecting "Something else" and going through the installation process, I expected my "/home" partition to become encrypted but it did not happen, although Trisquel 8 had been correctly installed.

I repeated the process trying to find a checkbox in screen "Who are you?" which would allow me to tell the installer to encrypt my "/home" partition (as in trisquel_7.0_i686.iso) but this checkbox does not exist in Trisquel 8.0 installer.

Could you please make changes in the installer so the "/home" partition can be encrypted when installing via "Something else" ?

Until this is fixed, you might try the text installer. I haven't used it in a while, but I recall it having an option to encrypt the home folder.

Trisquel 8.0 support ended in April 2021.
Please open a new issue in case it remains on the current supported release.

Cheers!
