Hi
I have Win7 on my laptop. I installed Trasquel 4.0 but after finished installing the system reboot but it didn't show the boot options and now I automatically log into Trasquel everytime.
Can someone tell me how to correct this problem?
The GRUB2 bootloader menu is hidden by default, but you can make it show by pressing the shift key while booting.
In any case, the menu should only be hidden if Trisquel is the only operating system in the box, so I'm guessing the installer failed to detect your Windows. If so, please report and I'll explain how to add the appropriate menu entry.
Thank you quidam
I asked in forum about this and a simple update-grub command solved it. However when I select Windows 7 from boot screen options, Windows 7 failed to boot up and restart every time automatically without reaching the login screen.
I want to move completely to GNU but still work 80% on Windows so need to access that OS.
I tried with Ubuntu as well and same thing happened.
I hope you have an answer for this issue.
