'Snippets' offer short and sweet, snack-sized tips and updates about Firefox products, Mozilla’s mission and advocacy, Internet health news, and more.
Branding Issues:-
[1] Unmodified Firefox logo and trademark Firefox as part of Snippets.
[2] Updates from Mozilla as part of Snippets checkbox in about:preferences#home.
FSDG Issue(s):-
[1] Snippets make it easy to learn more about updates of Firefox products[1]. It is non-trivial to assess whether the suggested software/app is free software or not; Mozilla claims their unmodified software cannot be used for commercial purposes, which is against FSDG guidelines.
The data collection practice of Mozilla in this regard[2] seems acceptable; But I will be happy if any curious member takes time to study it.
