How to get "13d3:3247 IMC Networks 802.11 n/g/b Wireless LAN Adapter" work?

It's GPLed linux device driver called "Ralink RT2870 USB ABGN WLAN" and should be supported since linux kernel 2.6 series.

The instructions in the file README_STA (see http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/support.php?sn=501) is -- for me -- unfortunately, practically unusable.

May this -- as well as the firmware for the Atheros 802.11n USB chipset -- be added to Trisquel's package archives?
