Hi there,
lxdm-binary produces a cpu load of 100% on my Acer Aspire 7739 laptop.
More details can be found here. [1]
It seems to be fixed in Ubuntu but unfortunetaly it isn't yet solved in Trisquel.

As Belenos uses LightDM not LXDM this will be fixed in the RC iso. Please upgrade when it has full release.
The bug hasn't been fixed in Ubuntu.
For the purposes of software that is within Trisquel's support policy it is fixed in Belenos. As it stands to me it doesn't seem likely Ubuntu and the 'LXDE' upstream will fix this in LXDM as it stands. Rather they will go for a fix in whatever the LXQt (the new merged LXDE project) DM becomes. So quidam moving Belenos to LightDM is the right answer for the Belenos code base and Trisquel. If you like LightDM is the Belenos über patch for this bug.

This issue seems to be fixed for Trisquel 7. However, it's not fixed yet for Trisquel 6 and I'm not expecting this to change. Thus, this can be closed for good.
