These are the few programs that I detected during the first days I used the Trisquel 8. Seems like "Mozilla" and sometime "Ubuntu" has been batch replaced with "Trisquel" without quality control. Solving the below issues will most likely not solve the underlying problem, the scripts responsible to replace certain phrases with "Trisquel" should be evaluated.

Inbuilt programs:

=============
icedove

* When you add a new mail account: "Configuration found in Trisquel ISP database" should be "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database", right?
* sudo apt-cache show icedove reads: "Maintainer: Ubuntu Trisquel Team <ubuntu-mozillateam@lists.ubuntu.com>" -- originally reported to https://trisquel.info/en/issues/24329

=============
usb-creator-gtk

I get "Trisquel" in the message for any GNU/Linux distribution written to an USB device: "Writing disk image... Finishing... Installation is complete. You may now run Trisquel on other computers by bootin them with this drive inserted."

Trisquel 8.0 support ended in April 2021.
Please open a new issue in case it remains on the current supported release.

Cheers!

Solved, Icedove now says: "The following settings were found by probing the given server:"

> * sudo apt-cache show icedove reads: "Maintainer: Ubuntu Trisquel Team <name at domain>" -- originally reported to https://trisquel.info/en/issues/24329

Solved, sudo apt-cache show icedove reads: Maintainer: Trisquel GNU/Linux developers <name at domain>
