The revisions let you track differences between multiple versions of a post.

This manual contains a set of pre-formatted templates you can use to recommend Trisquel GNU/Linux to other users.

Goal

  • Users who are new to GNU/Linux commonly ask the question "Which distro should I use?" or some variation of this.
  • The objective of this manual is to provide pre-written recommendations that users can use on various sites (e.g. reddit, drupal, mailman listserves, ect.) advocating users try Trisquel GNU/Linux.

Template

You should try Trisquel GNU/Linux it is one of the nine fully-free distros approved by the GNU Project. That means every piece of software is free to run for whatever purpose you want, study, modify, and share. Trisquel is based off Ubuntu but does not compromise on user freedom.
