Revision of How to Change Default File Type Associations from Thu, 09/04/2014 - 02:04

The revisions let you track differences between multiple versions of a post.

Trisquel by default uses Nautilus from Gnome3. To change the default filetype associations and set your own default programs to launch your files:

  1. Right click on the file you would like to open with another program.
  2. Click "Properties". setfiletypes1.png
  3. Click "Open With" tab.
  4. Click the desired application and click "Set as default".
