Revision of How to Change Default File Type Associations from Tue, 03/31/2015 - 02:22

The revisions let you track differences between multiple versions of a post.

Trisquel by default uses the Nautilus file manager from Gnome 3. Here is how to change which programs your files are opened with by default:

  1. Right click on the file you would like to open with another program.
  2. Click "Properties". setfiletypes1.png
  3. Click "Open With" tab.
  4. Click the desired application and click "Set as default".
