Description

A software engineer who has worked in a commercial software house back in the 1990's through to early 2000's maintaining the software and producing releases with scripts that were written in the original Bourne shell and the application written a form of C which a lot of helper functions to make the life of the application developer easier. I started learning Python which enabled me to use object-orientated design whilst also writing extensions in C, and that could be compiled using the system provided compilers. I also ported the application to Linux, AIX and OSF/1, which also included moving from 32-bit to 64-bit back in 199.
