Abrowser Extensions

• GNU LibreJS - An add-on for GNU IceCat, Trisquel Abrowser, Parabola Iceweasel and Mozilla-based browsers - detects and blocks nonfree nontrivial JavaScript while allowing its execution on pages containing code that is either trivial and/or free.
• JShelter - A browser extension meant to combat threats arising from nonfree JavaScript.
• LibRedirect - A web extension that redirects YouTube, X, Reddit, Pinterest, Medium, Imgur, Google Translate, Google Search ... requests to alternative privacy friendly frontends.
• NoScript - Gives you the best available protection on the web. It allows JavaScript and other executable content to run only from trusted domains of your choice, thus mitigating remotely exploitable vulnerabilities, such as Spectre and Meltdown.

How to disable JavaScript:

• Trisquel Abrowser and GNU IceCat: Ctrl+L and paste about:config in your URL bar, click on the button "Accept the Risk and Continue" and search for javascript.enabled and set it from true to false.
• ungoogled-chromium: Ctrl+L and paste chrome://settings/content/javascript in your URL bar and select "Don't allow sites to use JavaScript".
