List of Free Fonts
This is a list of free replacements for proprietary fonts.
Why are free fonts necessary?
Uncomplicated shapes cannot be copyrighted, and letters in fonts are shapes, so you may wonder why fonts can be copyrighted. Fonts can only be copyrighted because they are actually programs written to render (draw) the fonts. Just like any other software, fonts should be free.
