Scan Server

Overview

SANE allows you to provide scanner access to other machines on the network through saned. This is especially useful for scanners without network interfaces, Quality of Service and circumventing proprietary software dependencies. However, the Trisquel server will have to be able to use the scanner beforehand.

Basic Setup

For the time being, this upstream community page provides a solid method for offering scanner service to the network and can be used on a Trisquel 7.0 server.
