Hello!
With the closer migration to GitLab, and the recent updates for abrowser the last remaining issues open: #5772: about:rights has a bad format
I think is fair to mark this as closedfixed and start any new reports on GitLab.
This is part of a campaign to clean remaining issues at 9.0, before the migration is in place, hopefully most issues will be resolved, thank you for al the reports over several years.
I have begun seeing this issue on a clean install of Flidas. Issue occurs on most text-heavy sites after scrolling down the page some. The issue comes and goes as you scroll up and down, seemingly at random.
I received the recent Trisquel updates notice and did the update. I wasn't able to upgrade from 7.0 to 8.0 for reasons I don't understand. Also, since the updates, font rendering in Abrowser deteriorates as I scroll down a page. Sometimes the rendering is unreadable but selection and copying into gedit renders the text well enough.
I think it is better to report bugs of icecat not here but at savannah, where it is hosted, since this isn't only a package of trisquel. We can avoid some duplicate bugs this way.
Please open separate Issues for individual bugs. This is just a list of them for Abrowser & Icecat. If you have both installed please include whether the bug occurs in both of them in your report.
I just want to second that I'm having this issue and note that it is on a 32-bit version and I am unsure whether anyone running 64-bit has confirmed this issue.
This is a critical issue as it has completely broken abrowser for many https sites. As noted by the original bug report abrowser just crashes.

Changing title back to the correct name.

Then why is the title "Abrowser font rendering"?
I have the same problem in Trisquel 8. https://trisquel.info/en/issues/23853

Do no have abrowser installed but tried to find out how it is setup with midori. In the past I recall it would identify as "safari"

Thanks.
Abrowser closes suddenly in untrusted sites.
It also breaks if an extension with specific blocking capabilities is installed, for example: uBlock, Disconnect...

Good idea! Thanks for updating this quidam.
Project issue numbers (ex. [#12345]) turn into links automatically.
Please use that feature, as it shows the status of the linked issue (and it is easier ;). I cleaned up the comment list.
