Hi,

I want to adjust brightness at trisquel mini. I'm using xbacklight, but it returns this: "No outputs have backlight property" How can I adjust brightness? Thanks, and sorry for my english.

Ah, I forgot. Brightness keys are not working.

See https://trisquel.info/forum/brightness-lenovo where I proposed different things to try. I would first try to install a newer kernel: http://jxself.org/linux-libre/

thanks, but I don't want to try to install kernel, or do other things at the post. For now, they are too much computer stuff to me. :) Maybe later I try.

As you wish. It is not particularly difficult though.

I struggled with this exact same issue for weeks. As far as I can tell in mini there is no way to adjust screen brightness as well as many other system features (like preventing the screen from going to sleep). I switched to the normal trisquel version which works much better.

Actually after this issue, I installed Manjaro, and started using it, but after a while I felt bad about using a non-free os. So, I came back, and updated kernel. Now, I managed to do what I wanted. I have intel backlight folder, and managed to adjust brightness at startup by editing rc.local. (function keys are still not working.) Thanks again.
