Hi!

My last update replaced the Trisquel boot theme by an Ubuntu one. This certainly relates to the upgrade of plymouth-label, plymouth-theme-script, libplymouth2 and plymouth from the version 0.8.2-2ubuntu2trisquel4 to the version 0.8.2-2ubuntu2.1. According to the Debian changelog, this new version "generates a dummy NSS stack in the initrd to suppress a glib warning generated by the label control (LP: #649917)".

If I try to change the theme here is the result:
$ sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth
There is only one alternative in link group default.plymouth: /lib/plymouth/themes/script/script.plymouth
Nothing to configure.

Are you going through the same (minor) issue? Should I only wait for another update?
