Brigantia - machine freezes when rebooting

Both my computers (desktop and laptop) freeze when I try to reboot Brigantia. Any log message I should check to try to understand what's going on? Any one with the same issue?
When rebooting but not when booting? That is weird. You can, of course, take a look at the logs such as the "syslog" via the "log viewer" in System/Administration (or directly opening the files in /var/log).
I have the same problem. When restarting or trying to shutdown the system
hangs. It says
Killing all remaining processes ... FAIL
if I use the magic sysrq to terminate all processes, it says
dbus main process terminated
rc main process terminated
Looks like a workaround is to install wicd and remove network-manager. In
that order! :)
It's an upstream (Oneiric) bug (thanks SirGrant for the follow-up on my bug report).
I confirm that the following workaround works:
- remove modemmanager
- replace network-manager by wicd
Boot: OK
Shutdown: OK
Reboot: machine hangs
Thanks lembas for the workaround... Will try it...
I have same issue. Even Ubuntu, suse. Only @ reboot it hang at last.
--- crazy duplicate ---
I couldn't see anything in the logs. Not saying it isn't there...

I removed modemmanager earlier so that might also factor in.
.
Finally found the solution to this machine freeze at reboot, thanks to the following blog article:
http://linux.koolsolutions.com/2009/08/04/howto-fix-linux-hangfreeze-during-reboots-and-restarts/
Setting GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="reboot=efi" in /etc/default/grub fixed the problem for my Acer Aspire One D257.
Hooray, what a day ;)!
