Hopefully the microphones are not so deeply embedded that it will take more than 5 minutes to remove them.

Remove them? I'm not planning installing them/letting Google install
them in the first place. :)

If you move into a house with that sort of thing already installed.

Hopefully, it would be as easy as removing landline (telephone) wiring. Not to say that landlines are bad, just a comparison.
