can this avoid installing non free firmware during installation of debian 12?

will the debian 12 installer install non free
firmware if you install debian 12 on a thinkpad
t400 libreboot? A computer which does
not require non free firmware.
If installing debian 12 on a thinkpad t400 libreboot results in
no installation of non free firmware and after installation
you remove the non free firmware repository
from the sources list, then no non free firmware will get
installed if you move the debian 12 hdd to another
computer, a non libreboot computer.
