hello, i have a thinkpad t400 with libreboot installed and i have high fan speed even with cpu usage at minimum and ok temperature, according to trisquel mate panel sensors.

In fact, for this panel applet, the fan does not appear selected and when activated it does not show any value.

I tried a few random things, but it didn't change. Any tips?

Thanks!

The T400's fan speed control is likely to be accessible in the BIOS, which is reached
on my T420 by repeatedly pressing the F1 function key during a restart. My T420 does not
have a fan-control setting in the BIOS, but the fan hasn't ever acted up.

Be extra careful when exploring your T400's BIOS. Don't change anything without knowing
what will happen ... that's always good advice, which I got from the machinist in charge
of the shop where I went to college. If you're not certain, ask !

My t400 does not have the bios. I had libreboot installed, but I still don't know how to configure it.
