Please correct me if i'm wrong. I find the prices of ThinkPenguin very high. The emperor notebook starts with 2GB ram, which is low these days. They charge 55 dollar if you want 2GB more. I think that's very expensive.
They have no AZERTY-keyboard. Is there a European alternative for ThinkPenguin ?

ThinkPenguin is certainly not the cheapest. While it's certainly possible to shop around and find things that are cheaper, at the same time it's also good to support ThinkPenguin and buy stuff from them. There aren't many freedom-respecting hardware vendors out there, so it's good to support the one that we do have.

It is cheaper indeed. But keep in mind that ThinkPenguin sells recent
hardware while the Thinkpad is quite old now. I must admit that I was
interested in this one but my parents don't want me to buy an old
computer.
